At some point they started making dimmers too, but you can only dim via the microswitch. So the wall switch would have to be simple on/off

HI, For a switch like that I would use a dual relay, you can find them on amazon, though I usually find for the dual switch newegg has the best prices. Just search Z wave Dual relay

Yes, you can use a neutral from anywhere. They are all connected in the main electrical panel. That makes them essentially all the same wire.

Google z-wave micro switches. They are great. You can avoid replacing all your standard wall switches. Just install one inline with your 3 way and your set to go.
