Does anyone know if USB C video works on this one? I bought the 32" and Samsung support told me the USB C only worked with Apple and Galaxy computers.
The USB type-C port enables you to power up, transmit data, and even send display signals between devices with just one connection. Its single connection architecture brings an enjoyable work environment that's both clutter-free and stress-free.

Unfortunately, this is the same text on their website for the 32" monitor, which they have conceded does not work. I'm not optimistic.

When I installed the driver for it, it gave me the option of installing over USB. I don't have a monitor with USB, so I can't test it. The odd thing is there's no display port connection.
Maybe their new ones are different, but my brother's roommate had a Samsung "smart monitor" from a a couple years back and it was a piece of shit.
Also 43" is a bit large for 4K monitor use. I think most people would be better off with a 32" or even 27" and putting the monitor closer. The S80A or S80UA are both about the same price (unsure of the difference between the two) as this is. The S70A 32" is even cheaper.
I Have this monitor and while its beautiful I find 43" too big. The software is clunky and remote is terrible. But for the value its a go, just make sure you have the proper setup and room on your desk as I found myself too close.

Well, that, and the crappy refresh rate, HRD of only HDR10, and lack of freesync....
Still, at this price, it's almost tempting.
