I'm waiting again for the 2.0ah and 4.0ah batteries to go back on sale for $99 with the free gift(tool) option they had a few weeks back. i really like their 24v line. I've got 8 of the 24v tools now and they've all been great for yard work, tree trimming, working on my husqvarna mower, chopping up neighbors old rotted deck. i still want a few more of them.

Lowes often runs 24 Volt Kobalt tool promotions with two batteries in the $100-$149. The usual combo being tool +2 amp + 4 amp with charger. Depending on the tool and your application the 2 amp may be all you need for some jobs - and it's lighter.
Kobalt is a great product - I have four Kobalt 24v tools and (IMO) the 24 Volt the best option - CL ads for the 40v tools and batteries are pretty common - rare to see 24v there.

If you get deep into Kobalt like I am, this is a great deal. The 4 ah batteries are great for the grinder, weed eater, lawnmower, circ saw, big impact wrench, vacuum cleaner, and the misting fan. The 2 ah work great for most of the daily use tools. I've only had one battery go bad on me, for the big impact, and it was 5 years old when it died.
I love this deal, but I have no idea what to do with all the spare chargers.
I love the kobalt 24v system as well. Just got done using it to replace the struts on my van. Snatched the 1/2" impact wrench on clearance for 59. Worth every penny.

We have 60' of walkway and about 60' of hedge - if trimmed reguarly 2 amp works well with trimmer and edger.
Will trade new. never used 24v Kobalt Battery Chargers (plural) ...

I keep spare battery chargers in separate places so I can charge batteries in my shop, garage, or in my truck.

I don't really get the $59 compact impact "wrench" though. It has the same torque specs as an impact driver.......Actually the hercules 1/4" impact driver is stronger!

Do they ever have similar deals on the 40v? I could use a few more 40v batteries.
Speaking about kobalt, have had no problems using the warranty on a few products (weedeater 40v that I used/abused on 3 acres and backpack sprayer x 3) so definitely recommend them however I do not recommend the 40v backpack sprayer (probably the 24v as well) backpack sprayer #1 one was doa (bought on sale but didn't use it till 6 months later) warranty no problem just keep your receipts, 2nd was newer design and leaking in the battery compartment 😳 and 3rd was same as 2nd.so I got full refund lucky bc of how they had to process 1st return and had completely new receipt for 2nd/3rd one. Went with ryobi 40v backpack sprayer as I also do 40v ryobi @ 100 bucks on sale. Wanted to do 18v ridgid new product backpack sprayer bc I got ridgid 18v power tools and lots of batteries (great for their lifetime lsa warranty) but it was 250 bucks I think! So went with 100 ryobi on sale with 3 year warranty I think it was.

It looks like fewer 40 promos than the 24 - two things to watch for - the 'kit promo tool'+ Batteries and charger - the other two batteries and charger with a "Free Tool" Happy Hunting!
