I got this from woot a couple months ago for 30 bucks. It's pretty sturdy, just be aware that it is a pain to put together. It's not hard, just takes a really long time

The wood one says it supports only 40 pounds, And it used to be $8 cheaper

They're identical, other than color.

Unless you're very careful not to bang them up, the chrome models on these tend to hold up the best.

Just make sure you don't expose them to moisture.

Someone mentioned using them as a plant stand, but I definitely wouldn't try to do hydroponics with them, for example.

I have this exact model, and it serves well for years to hold board games. It now resides in my wife's classroom, still functionally new. It's very sturdy although a little top heavy depending on what you load it up with.

Absolutely no it's not sturdy you'll need to brace it to the wall the two halves are not connected on top. Only connected by the two poles.
