Can anyone please tell what is SUB?
I am guessing sign up bonus
Question for anyone who keeps this card after the first year payoff, what keeps you paying that stiff fee other than forgetting to cancel or protecting your FICO score?

There was a brief period there where if you signed up in-branch, you got the 100k point offer and a $50 grocery credit.
Like you, the lounge access is the most important perk to me. It has been a real life saver several times... either to relax in when I'm exhausted during a long layover, or when I'm in a rush and need some quick grub.
Besides that... 5X / 10X points when you book travel through the Chase portal? That's worth something, although half the time it seems like the airfares in the Chase portal are higher than booking directly with the airline. So I dunno.
Pays for my Global Entry.
Lounge access + 2 free guests.
Car rental primary collision/insurance.
3x on dining which is usually 1500+ points per month.
Even more this month with the Freedom Flex getting 7x at restaurants.
I will miss the Priority Pass restaurant benefit ending later this year. That was easy to get value from. Fingers crossed they give us something to make up for that, but not holding my breath.
If you don't travel or dine out a lot this card might not make the most sense for you. But it works well for me.

The instacrt benefit is going away and priority lounge access is nerfed and also available on other cards where you make the $ back.
You do get sapphire lounge access that is in certain locations (LGA, BOS etc)
CSRs benefit is the 1.5x points redemption on their travel portal. so $1000 worth points is worth $1500 if you use chase's portal.
CSP does 1.25 x.
CSR also offers Nexus for frequent Canada travelers.
Also I think CSP has no foreign transaction fee either.
You can start with CSP for the points and move to CSR in 12 months but everyone has different needs. Make sure yours local lounges are worth it. Priority lounges can get full in some busy airports and also pretty underwhelming in some cities.
