I got another type Cobra branded camera from Costco some time ago and it died in a few months. I think these are rebranded Chinese crap. Get a Viofo camera. I have one that has been running for 6 years in my wife's car in the Texas heat with zero issues.

Just in the past month I guess a capacitor or something inside (since there is no battery) has failed, as now when I turn on the car it has lost its settings and it leaves the screen on (until I click 3 times to turn it off) and the reverse camera image is upside down. Still works fine.
I have a 32GB card in it since it won't accept the 128GB or 256GB cards I tried.

Name one dash cam where that's the case, just so we have a reference point of what you think this "quality" is. Hell, name any electronics where this is the case.
