this chair was $170 back in 2017

inflation is a beetch lol
I'll never pay $1k for a chair, but those StaplesMax chairs for $150 and under are crap and technology has little to do with that argument. $300 is a genuine entry price for getting something that starts to resemble quality.
Got this chair back in 2020 for around the same price when I started working from home. Absolutely love the chair and haven't had any issues with it so far.

That coupon didn't work for me but there was one in my account that showed up to give the $25 gift card for purchases over $125. Thanks.

Ive used this chair before. At the end of the day it was just a office chair.

How about at the beginning of the day?

Maybe there's your problem!

I tend to start work early so I need something like this for early mornings.

Near daily use since 2020, held up well, noticeably more well-constructed and comfortable/adjustable than other $100-$200 we tried out. To each their own, but this one was worth the slight premium.

Going to have to agree with ROGERE. Company I know bought these "type" of chairs and within a year they ripped torn, etc. would rather buy the $45-50 chairs every year or two. Than hold on to a worn out 300 chair any day.

I mean there's a good chair at the price point and then there's garbage chairs at the price point. Company may have gotten the garbage. Or maybe it's use case because there is no way within a year a sizeable portion of their stock of good quality chairs would be ripped or torn. A bad chair shouldn't even be in terrible condition within a year.

Was gonna same something similar, but I actually have the 12000, not 9000 that's in this post. I worked at office depot right out of high school and sold a thousand of these chairs, these models have been around for like 15-20 years at this point and they still sell them. That speaks more to the quality of this line of chairs than just about any comment on SD could. Don't intentionally mistreat them and they absolutely will last.
