They very clearly made too many of the variant with 16gb (and not enough of the one with 32gb), which is a shame. I'd definitely pay another $100-150 for 16gb more RAM.

This one is cheaper because the other deals so far have had a 1tb hard drive
Its a decent gaming laptop.....512gbs is tight...(some games are 100gbs now) ...the oled is really nice. 16gb is kind of a minimum now, but plenty for most people. The 4060 is good.
Tbh the 16gb is a killer for a lot of people. Everything else it's an amazing deal even with the 512gb (it has 2x nvme slots so you can easily upgrade when a ssd deal hits). No adaptive sync is a bummer but not really a deal breaker either.
I also want to say a lot of people are probably just waiting around and seeing what ARM CPU's are like on gaming laptops.
This is perfect but out of my price range since it's for a 10 year old to take to school.
You really should be looking at sub $150 Chromebooks. My 14 year old took my old Lenovo to school when I upgraded and he cracked the corner of the screen within the first month.

I have heard Ryzen is better for gaming laptop because of the heat, etc.
