Why? We used to have Krogers in NC until they bought out another retailer and rebranded. I actually like Kroger better than most major grocers in NC. Their stores are a little rough but prices are decent compared to all the Wegman's and Publix which seems to have replaced them. Oddly the Krogers in NC all turned into Harris Teeters which is an uppity (aka you are paying $7 for a box of cereal because of the hardwood floors) like the stores above....

Right now, Kroger is trying to merge with Albertsons. Would be bad for the consumer and some employees if they're allowed to.
