Amazon has several Blueridge acoustic guitars at very attractive prices. All Blueridge guitars come with a REALLY nice thick, padded gig bag (like Taylor or PRS) or, for the more expensive models, a hard shell case.

My own experience says that these are the best things going at these price points. My own BR-43 was the first guitar I owned that simply said "It's a keeper!" I've tried the $900 Martin 000 models and prefer my Blueridge.

All Blueridge guitars are made in China to my knowledge. They're still darned fine instruments.

Samples of what's available (link to the whole list at the bottom)

BR-40 Dreadnought $416 (Solid spruce top, laminated mahogany body) [amazon.com] OUT OF STOCK but orderable for later shipping

BR-60 Dreadnought $508 (Solid spruce top, laminated rosewood body) [amazon.com]

BR-63 000 Size (Concert) $526.50 (Solid spruce top, laminated rosewood body) [amazon.com] OUT OF STOCK but orderable

Bristol BM-16 000 Size (Concert) $236 (Laminated spruce top; laminated mahogany body). [amazon.com] This is the Bristol line, so all laminated. Still comes in a nice bag. They sound surprisingly good for a budget model.

BG-60 Slope-shoulder Dreadnought $625 (Solid spruce top, laminated mahogany body) [amazon.com]

I've had the BG-60 for years. It's a great guitar. The whole product line has been punching above its weight for a long time.

I've not played an Orangewood. My own impression is that the two digit models (BR-40, BR-63, etc) are excellent intermediate guitars. The three digit models are competitive at the the professional end.

I have a BR-43, and it was the first acoustic I fell in love with out of the box. I've tried intermediate Martins (at the $900 or so price point; made in Mexico), and I didn't find them any better. I think my BR-43 "sings" a lot better than the Yamaha FS800/820/830. The Yamaha is a fine instrument with similar specs and also made in China. The Blueridge costs slightly more.

I'm skeptical of any review that says "as good as a Martin at 1/3 the price" because Martin has a well-deserved reputation. Nonetheless, I really like my BR-43, which is a copy of a WW II era Martin 000 design.

Saga (Blueridge's importer) has a decently impressive list of artist endorsements. https://www.sagamusic.com/artists/

This video is what led me to try a Blueridge. https://youtube.com/watch?v=y_uD2Vss-r4
