    RIP, Eric Carle. Amazing life story, born in the US, family moved to Germany, dad got drafted by the Nazis and captured by the Russians for years. As a teen Eric was forced into Nazi work camps to help with the war effort. Amazing after all of that he would be able to come back to the US and spread so much joy. Or maybe it was because of that…
