Correct, mobile 4090's are more closely related to 4080 desktop. Exact same die actually… still a mobile powerhouse. Just don't know much about this brand…
I think the idea of the laptop for gaming, especially with a 4090, is less about being plugged into a wall and more about being able to take it anywhere. Any GPU/CPU intensive process is going to drain your battery pretty quickly.
