Second, I do remember that Eaglemoss / Hero Collector went into bankruptcy within the past few years and that another company (Master Replicas?) bought the rights or bought their remaining inventory (or something like that) and is reselling those Star Trek models. I'm not sure if there are any plans to create new models though.
I did a quick internet search on "Eaglemoss Hero Collector" and found:

However they're losing their license to Star Trek merch on June 15, hence the clearance sale now.
I believe some other company is going to get the license next and are likely to make their own products at that point.

If a seller is going bankrupt, they should not bother charging and collecting sales tax...
They've already gotten the license to continue the lines for some of franchises that Eaglemoss made figures of, including Doctor Who.
