They have gotten better recently , don't be such a skeptic 😂
I haven't had a "2 day" Prime order delivered within 2 days in probably the last year. If they can't even get an item to me in the timeline I pay a subscription for, I don't trust their drivers not to shake the hell out of a 12 pack of soda.
Fwiw if they ever miss their 2-day prime delivery date you can chat with them and request a $5 account credit for the late delivery. You pay (a lot!) for prime for their guaranteed delivery service and they failed to meet that promise.
....and make sure to drop it a few times, so that at least one or two cans leak (yes, this has occurred to me)! Dented cans are their specialty....but soda cans are under pressure, so be guided accordingly....since the "splash" could take on a whole new meaning (in this "case")!🙄
Yeah, way better! I recently received a 24 pack of pineapple juice, and every can was dented!

The exact same issue with both orders of pineapple juice every single can was dented
Just let it sit for a few hours. The carbonation will settle after a while and the can won't burst.
They just smashed 2 cans of Spam, shudder to think of what they would do with a 12-pack.
They told me years ago they no longer do that.
it doesn't hurt to politely ask for some kind of compensation
they're usually willing to help with what they can
