SlickdealsForumsDeal Talkdustbuster 12V MAX AdvancedClean+ Cordless Hand Vacuum With Extra Long Crevice Tool $28, 12V MAX AdvancedClean Slim Cordless Handheld Vacuum With Jack Charger $21.70, More +FS
All of my dustbuster experiences have been great for a year or two and then mediocrity to unbearable after that.
Have they improved much in the last couple years?
Seems like a nice price if you're due a replacement
I swapped to one that has replaceable batteries (black and Decker that uses the power drill batteries) and haven't looked back. I don't think it's as good as the DustBusters but it's been working reliably. Probably helps to have the spare battery to swap with the drill so it's not recharging after each use.

Problem is keeping them on the charger kills the Lithium cells in a year or two. They do best around 50% charge.
Have one for 12 years, recharge it when needed, still works with reduced capacity.

I concur, been thru enough of these crappy dustbusters. It's a racket they got going, batteries cannot be replaced. I switched to the Ryobi One system with replaceable batteries used in their tool lineup and that was that.
Own the power boost that gets more suction, works good for quick cleanups. Got at Ross for $25 during xmas. Only bad thing is the battery can't be replaced.= garbage

It looks like the 2 cheaper slim ones use HLVCF10 [blackanddecker.com] which costs $10 from B&D. I see 6-pack from 3rd party Amazon [amazon.com] for $17 (so $2.83 each)
The + version uses HHVKF10 [blackanddecker.com] which costs $13 from B&D. Amazon (sold & shipped) [amazon.com] seems to be selling this for $9.50. I don't see any bulk discounts.
Only the slim version w/ jack charger for $21.70 is still available.
