Bought one of these over 5 years ago. Still using it today. Dropping the kettle or something heavy on the kettle could dent it.
I don't know why but I relate to this so much. I have a nice dent on my lid too. I wonder if it's a normal occurrence lol. even with the dent it works perfectly.
