Rowan is a genius. These are way better than the "Bean" movies if you're hesitant.
I mean, that's kind of the entire point of the character. He was meant to be incredibly cringy, awkward, and absurd in his interactions with the world.
are these the FULL LENGTH episodes, or the cut down edited versions for USA TV showing?

I saw the first one in the theater and was disappointed to see him recycling bits from the show.

You also have Bean and Mr Bean's Holiday to add separately. So you'll get only the TV series with this set, according to what the listing confirmed (14 episodes ONLY).

The first movie was meh, the second movie was actually quite hilarious. Dafoe was brilliant in it.

DVD? Pass. At this point I'm not looking to add any additional DVD media to my collection.
Anything originally recorded on video tape instead of film does not have enough resolution on the source material to do anything more than DVD

Agreed. The American humor in the first bean movie didnt mesh well, and the movie dragged on way too long. The second movie set in France really brought out the best of Bean

Is Bean a good flick, I mean from a man's perspective? 🤔

Good question, I got the 3 DVD set ages ago (not this publication) and was disappointed to see the Christmas episode was missing the "guess the turkey's weight" contest gag, which I had actually seen on PBS, so what else am I missing?

Actually, the older 3 disc set contains the as broadcast versions of the show as seen in the UK.

It was PBS and US VHS releases that contained the longer cuts.
