I thought kobalt discontinued the 80v lineup? I have the gen 1 chainsaw and have fell a few <15" trees. I have two 2ah and one 6ah batteries, so I've never had to stop, but a 4ah might not get you through the limbing/bucking of a big tree before needing recharge. I do highly recommend this saw, especially if you're already in the kobalt 80v lineup.

They are still sold online, there's also minor hacks/mods to make the batteries cross compatible between greenworks and kobalt
