Thanks OP. I ordered and received the 2 spool and the 3 spool sets. The power and the controller are one one end, not the center for both sets. You will need to get more clips, if you space them...

The Google / AI answer: "IP65, the "6" means the device is highly resistant to dust ingress, and the "5" signifies that the device is protected against water jets from all directions. IP65...

I have had my Govee strips outdoors through winter, without issues, but I do not live where it gets ‘actually’ cold. We might have seen a few days in the single digits here in Texas, but if someone...

All Govee light strips can do the basic holiday presets; the difference between strips are noted oftentimes in their main descriptor, RGB (color), RGBIC (independent control, even though this is...

Can someone explain in layman's terms the IP65 rating? Specifically, I live in an area where it can go below freezing in winter (-15 F). Would this thing last throughout the season, rain or snow?

Amazing for Govee, but it's still expensive for what you're getting. DIY can be done better and far cheaper.

Again this video seems to suggest otherwise. He cuts the end for the size he needs in this and says it still works you just can’t join at the end. https://youtu.be/c25kC-2VsdU?si=OFOvaguKTcK2sKaP

I'll do some more digging, but I am guessing these can do pre-programmed light shows? Or is that the fancier model? Ideally, we want to install something for year round usage for Holidays...

I guess that makes sense - after all - most houses have exact dimensions in multiples of 32' 😂 "*This light strip cannot be cut. Only models H706A/B/C are cuttable." Of course, searching for...

I did email them as well, and they agreed with me with the following reply: I'll also note that if you look at the pictures at Amazon, the users there show the 2-roll strip being Y-branched off....

what does it mean "can't be cut"? What if I only need 56 feet?
Post #170643696 added 05-01-2024 8:42 PM by organicika in Hot Deals
so if you bought two of them you would have to have two outlets. say you got the 65 ft one. you would have to hook power to one 32 ft on the left and find power for it. THEN run the other 32ft...

I own nearly all of the Govee strips that exist, in every length. I can be easily judged, and I admit my problem. I don’t know why RGB strips are my kryptonite, but like any other obsession, we don’t...

I saw the video and yes I think you're right. If anyone calls Govee to ask, please share the answer!
