Why would they put a 512GB SSD in there…with those specs it deserves at least 1TB if not 2TB.
I'm new to Mac's, but all my files have been cloud saved and there is an SD slot with flush mount adapters that some people are using as a drive (I wouldn't).
An external drive is definitely more cumbersome, but far more reliable.
Personally, I have my NAS connected
So, it doesn't seem to me that drive space is really as big an issue as people say here.
