DV is a scam. Don't fall for it. It's like IMAX ENHANCED, completely meaningless when it hits the screen because tv manufacturers do not implement it correctly. :yummy:

G3 is about 200 nits brighter than the 90c. HOWEVER, its color brightness is much lower, that white subpixel is responsible for the majority of G3's peak output.

Sounds like you should look into the C series which is more comparable to the S90C anyway and much closer in price. This TV is a grade above the S90C which is why it cost more.
