Is this a good deal? I'm just getting into the M12 ecosystem (coming from Ryobi) and am not completely oriented on pricing quite yet.

I don't need to jump into it and am happy to wait for fathers day deals if anyone thinks it's worth waiting.

You can get the hammer drill + impact driver with the 2 same batteries + work bag for $124 during promo. That's how I got mine. Wait for that promo.

This is as good as it gets imo for 2 batteries 3 fuel tools and a charger. Since the prior sale is 125 for 2 tools, 2 batteries and charger. And then the 3/8 impact usually is about 100 with the hack if individual or 150 is with 2 batteries and a charger. This saves you the headache of doing 2 hacks and just doing one unless you need 4 batteries and 2 chargers.

yup. 3/8 impact wrench + 4.0Ah battery was $106. but that deal may not come back soon

Yep. The impact wrenches don't seem to go on 'deep' discount often - I'd call this a convenient 'getting started' kit for M12 Fuel set for DIY + Shop use. The 3/8" impact wrench can benefit from the High Output ('HO') batteries, 2.5 AH, 5.0 AH, plus the (non-HO) 6.0AH.

That said, if your main intended use is for heavier duty lug nuts (for trucks/trailers), you'll want the high-torque M18 Fuel variant.

I got the M12 Drill and impact driver set for $129 last week. This does't seem to be a good deal where you pay more than $100 for just the ranch.

If this bundle was still available. It would be a decent deal. Just for comparison. I was able to get the nut driver, drill and same batteries for $124. Then on a separate deal I got the stubby 3/8 impact but M18 style with 4 amp battery for $80, was a Northern Tool deal. So these deals can be had if you wait and pay attention.
