The only thing I like about Rick Santorum is that if you look at him straight on, you can tell that at some point someone broke his nose with a right cross.

If I were a Republican, I'd probably vote for Ron Paul just because the others are so incredibly hideous. Santorum might satisfy a base that demands satisfaction but he has less than absolutely no chance in a general. I told someone a little over a year ago that I'd have a hard time voting against Romney in a general against Obama because I think he does what he thinks are the right things for the right reasons and it's tough to argue against that, even if I don't agree with his ideals. Now I'd vote for Santorum over Romney. At least Santorum actually believes in something.

Man, Romney. What a hideous turd. The guy will say or do anything to be president, exactly what I didn't want in a president.

But Santorum is not an exception. All the current politicians do it. The only one I think stand out is RP, and that's because his track record said it all. If he does like Obama, Romney and the rest, he wouldn't have such a hard time getting votes count.
