Conservatives should oppose things that only affect the person themselves. Like helmet/seatbelt laws, for example. The purpose of a reverse beep would be to warn other people behind them. Just the other day, I saw a UPS delivery man almost get hit by a minivan backing up not paying attention at all. It was a very close call that would not have been close had the minivan had a reverse horn. |
