Rosen attack Ann Romney for being a housewife and not having a job. She even elaborated as to how not all women have the choice to stay at home.

Rush attacked the Georgetown woman because she wanted him and everyone else in this country to pay her Birth Control.

I don't know the specifics here, but shouldn't they have been taught to stand on their own two feet about 20 years ago? Or did you teach them to be good little marxist / socialists and have their hands out expecting someone else to support them for life. If that's the case, they learned well...

I taught my kids to be responsible and to work hard and pay their own way in this world because no one's going to hand it to you on a platter.

#2 son was mixing concrete and mortar by hand at 12 years of age, lifting and carrying 50# bags to the trough and hoeing them into readimix for me to pour/use for stoops, post bases, footings, etc, in my renovation business.
He's been in and out of school for years but with a severe ADHD problem has trouble with schooling in general in spite of a high level of intelligence.

#1 son has been out of work for a total of about 13 months in his entire adult life, spending 10 years as a warehouse manager for a parts distributor through FOUR ownership changes,. He was the ONLY employee to survive all those ownership changes and only lost his job after the final buyout phased out his warehouse completely.
He was unemployed for a while until landing a job in a meat packing facility, where he's been continuously employed for just over 3 years.
He doesn't have the aptitude to continue with higher education, barely having made it through high school at all.

Does that SOUND like being taught to expect handouts?

Now that you have a little MORE information, instead of flying by the seat of your completely clueless pants, you should be COMPLETELY embarrassed to have raised the charge at all.

The one thing, above all else, that THIS Socialist-Libertarian has taught his children is that they are responsible for their own success because nobody is going to hand it to them on a platter.
It is not for lack of trying that they are not more successful, and if I were to hazard a guess, their story is more similar than not to MOST Americans today.
