Look, the fifth, the 14th, etc, if any, applies to people in your custody. In military actions against those in no-mans lands and not in our custody none of those applies, imo. Last edited by TRNT; 07-07-2012 at 06:09 AM.. |

You want to point to the part of the constitution authorizing the creation of Social Security? You want to point to the part of the constitution authorizing regulation of non-interstate commerce for the reason that it may affect interstate commerce? They don't exist. Yet all these things have been deemed allowed by the constitution. Extrajudicial killing of US citizens has not been tested because those who have died have been denied any court hearing or representation. This is even more frightening. In other words, no there is no part of the constitution that says the people meant for protection are US citizens. However, that was well understood under the doctrine "The Constitution follows the Flag". In later amendments citizens and people were separated more intentionally in writing. I believe I have found the most pertinent case regarding these facts. I welcome you to find a case that supports your arguments. Last edited by Xygonn; 07-08-2012 at 09:20 AM.. If I appear to be ignoring your posts, it's probably because you are on my ignore list.

2. I would think SS would go under general welfare. I also think gov can collect SS taxes. 3. That sounds crazy to me. 4. Have they been denied hearing by the exec branch or by the judiciary? If the latter is that not a sorta hearing itself? 5. From memory......has us not been sued by people who have been rendered to brutal regimes to be tortured? If so, how were they able to do this? Either way......I am not convinced that there are circumstances under which we can kill non citizens but cannot citizens. At least I hope that is not the case. I also sincerely doubt that due process applies to combat type situations, killing citizens or on citizens alike. |

And before you start with...... We all know terrorist go to bed at night with a suicide bomb strapped on them just in those days where there might have been a mid-night raid ... Why they didn't shoot and kill the wife, since women can be suicide bombers too, and there have been many cases where women have blown themselves up Anyone that believe that they HAD to kill Osama because of some "fear of imminent danger" is a fool. This was a guy in his 50's with bad kidneys. We killed Osama more because of what he KNEW then because of what he can/could do |

(I would have preferred he be captured, like any other criminal). |
