Excellent Job, President Obama! I suppose if Obama had listened to the Republicans who scolded him for bombing Qadaffi, there would still be a President Qadaffi in Libya. Huh. I thought Republicans fancied themselves "military experts." I suppose if Obama had conducted the campaign the way Bush conducted the Iraq War, we'd have spent $1 Trillion, lost thousands of American lives and facing down armed Libyan fighters. But costs of the Libyan campaign were minimal, no Americans died, and we even fought alongside our allies. What a difference the right President makes! Oh, and if you didn't notice this in the news, then please stop whining about the so-called left-wing bias in the media. |

Good job on Libya....
Now, what about Syria? Seems like a much bigger crisis, with a much larger toll on human life. If overthrowing the leader of Libya was a good thing, seems he should be expected to get the ball rolling on Syria. We need to ramp up our efforts on policing the world. Surely you Obama supports can agree with me on that, no? Last edited by OhNoItsDEVO; 07-09-2012 at 09:14 AM.. |

Well it's good to know that we can count on the Left to support this kind of policing activity, as long as the man in charge has a 'D' in front of his name.
That being said, I'm glad things worked out for Libya, and Obama certainly does deserve credit for moving the Libya operation forward... Last edited by OhNoItsDEVO; 07-09-2012 at 09:36 AM.. |

Wow, history is something just completely subject to revision huh? lol
Apparently, rather than as you describe it as "scolded him for bombing Qadaffi," you seem to forget that McCain, Lieberman, and Graham were among the first to push for some air support for the rebels which the Administration initially was reluctant to do. The compromise position where the Administration eventually ended up was to do it under the banner of NATO, but it took them a while to get there.

You might want to hold your horses Rebound..... President Obama today said that he wants to extend the Bush tax cuts ---- the same tax cuts we've been told by Democrats for the last 12 years that were "tax cuts for the rich!!!!".
The truth: Management at IRS can blame themselves and how they have chaotic and poor management, but God-forbid you, or I, or anybody else in America gets audited and doesn't have their ducks in order and s***-together, your ass is going to court or jail.
Shout out to Congressman Mike Kelly for stating it as it is... Link [realclearpolitics.com] |
