Just as releasing tax returns is a recent, idiotic request, so is candidates releasing their college transcripts. Remember how the media portrayed Bush as an idiot, yet somehow his grades were slightly better than the enlightened Gore.
If the candidate states in favor of transparency, then I'd suggest full disclosure of birth records, SS information, college transcripts and tax returns. Time to stop the war.....on businesses and individual success!

Proof of lies, deception and coverup should be grounds for denial of that extension. Isn't that what those on the left would like to find regarding MR's returns? http://www.theblaze.com/contribut...-columbia/

Romney's taxes OTOH tell us what he thinks about paying America's bills. You know, the country from which he has derived great benefit..... Maybe he's rich cause he's just a conniver and a taker instead of actually earning money by doing something productive. |

Just maybe some things are much more relevant than others. What is the logic and precedence for releasing college transcripts? I don't have to do that for any job I apply for. It's really the voter who decides whether it's required anyway. All Presidential winners since Nixon have released more than 2 years of tax returns. Don't you want to know how he got $100M in a tax deferred IRA? Roll the dice, Romney. |

It's unclear where anybody ever got the idea that a free market results in low prices when the entire point of capitalism is to maximize profit and low prices are less profitable. Therefore the natural proclivity should be to collude and fix prices at the highest sustainable point.
Oh, it's illegal to collude and fix prices and whatnot as deemed by the gubmint? Who are they to say how a free market should work when it's a matter of divinity per Adam Smith whose book nobody bothered to read? |

Last time I checked, you could send the government more of your income than what you are legally required to pay in to help our nations debts and pay our bills. Has Obama done that? http://www.treasurydirect.gov/gov...t/gift.htm |

And really, people who'll vote for someone used to gentleman C's should be the last to raise the question of academic qualifications. |

Mind you I think all polititians shoud release their tax returns. I also think we should take money out of politics but most rightwingers never mention that until their back to a wall and even then reluctantly and as a lip service. |
