The snopes piece is really unimpressive IMHO and literally debunks almost nothing. It looks like it was written by a bunch of middle school kids based on how thoroughly they discussed the claims.

too many questions on 911 to just be swept under.. many civilians, firefighters, cops at the scene had different accts... the issue with the asbestos cleanup and insurance policy was suspect...the fact the owner said, "pull it" was suspect....the fact that GW refused to answer the 911 Commission alone and under oath was highly suspect...the videos removed from the pentagon "plane" crash and never shown was suspect....a few guys w/box cutters taking out 4 planes was very questionable ...several engineers/scientists questioned several of the occurrences and also found it suspect....the list goes on... I don't have the answers but I'd say the people deserve an independent commission to investigate the issue.... you can downplay what happened and question those who want answers, but I find it odd that you would just believe everything the gov't tells you when its well documented that gov't has lied to us many times before...

The reason that there are conspiracy theories is due to the massive amount of misinformation provided by the media. We were given tons of wrong information. We were given specific details as facts, when they were very wrong. It's difficult to believe what is true and what isn't.

That said, we know many more of the details today. I am absolutely certain that there was no conspiracy.

Ah, "poisoning the well". Truthfully the notion (that it was staged) is so absurd to me that I couldn't possibly poison a well that's ... well.. .. already full of poison.

I don't have all the info to say it was staged, but if there are questions about people being chased and handcuffed and put in the back of a cop car, I think its normal to ask who it was and why they were accosted... someone earlier mentioned no video of Lanza onsite was shown... just several questions is all I'm saying... then you get some people, "poisoning the well, as you a say, and then its all a huge alien conspiracy that dilutes the legitimate questions...
