Was looking into Ridgid because of their “Lifetime Service Agreement”. Unlike me who is just starting to look at powertools, you seem to be knowledgeable… What’s your thoughts on Ridgid versus...
Meh, great wrench for sure. Bought it last month for like 109 with free gift or something with a hack and was even cheaper

This is the correct answer. I think the 20V product line is the better investment for most people, offering more power and battery compatibility with a lot more tools at a similar price. Only reason...

Size mainly, for tools that don't need maximum power the 12v tools are built smaller and that makes more sense paired with the smaller 12v batteries. IMHO Milwaukee's M12 was a much better use of...

What is the benefit of having 12v over 18v tools? Not sure if I need this

I sold Ryobi 18V and bought this one two years ago. Dewalt 12V removes lug nuts faster than Ryobi 18V. Also, this tool shares the 12V battery with my favorite DCF601 screwdriver.

I'm fairly confident the main reason the loophole stays open is to circumvent minimum advertised price agreements with the manufacturers. Many big brands make deals with big retailers that force...

I agree. For some time i could not understand why home depot would create unnecessary returns for the stores, then i realize there must be a significant portion of people who just ended up keeping...

Not sure if DeWalt has a 12v Pruner but I have the DeWalt DCPR320 Pruner and it uses the 20V MAX battery. Not sure if a 12v battery would work or even mount on the tool. BTW, it works really well, at...

I went busting through the link with excitement before I finally realized it was 12v. Upvoting this for awareness.

Are the 12v and 20v the same battery pattern?

I recently flew domestic with three Milwaukee impact wrenches including batteries without problem. It was cargo and not carryons.

off topic: Can I flight with those batteries on the checked bags?
Why wasn’t there a post for that deal?

Probably due to it being the 12v line not the 20v max line

Almost bought it then realized it's 12V when all my DeWalt tools are 20v

Feels like low torque on this for the price. 400ft/lb break-away. Paying for size and the logo?

Does that include the pruner? That's the only DeWalt tool I want but buying all new batteries sucks.
