Another month, another batch of free games for Xbox Game Pass. The first half of February 2022 will see the addition of a few high-profile games, along with plenty of indies to keep you busy during the frigid winter month.
It’s not all good news, however, as six popular titles are leaving the service on February 15th. This includes ControlCode VeinFinal Fantasy XII: The Zodiac AgeThe MediumProject Winter and The Falconeer. If you’re not through playing them, you can pick all six up at a 20% discount using your Xbox Game Pass membership.
Xbox Game Pass spreads out its new arrivals across the entire month, so not all 10 games will be downloadable this week. Eight of the 10 games will be playable on PC, Console and through the cloud, making it easy to enjoy them regardless of your preferred platform. It’s also possible we’ll see more games revealed in the second half of February, as the current lineup stops adding titles on February 14th.
Here’s a closer look at all the new Xbox Game Pass games for February 2022:

  • Contrast (Cloud and Console) – February 3
  • Dreamscaper (Cloud, Console, and PC) – February 3
  • Telling Lies (Cloud, Console, and PC) – February 3
  • Besiege: Game Preview (Cloud, Console, and PC) – February 10
  • CrossfireX (Console) – February 10
  • Edge of Eternity (Cloud, Console, and PC) – February 10
  • Skul: The Hero Slayer (Cloud, Console, and PC) – February 10
  • The Last Kids on Earth and the Staff of Doom (Cloud, Console, and PC) – February 10
  • Ark: Ultimate Survivor Edition (Cloud, Console, and PC) – February 14
  • Infernax (Cloud, Console, and PC) – February 14

February is bringing more than new games to Xbox, as you’ll also find the Grounded: Into the Wood Update and Microsoft Flight Simulator World Update VII: Australia. Both updates are now available and ready to download.
Microsoft is rounding out this month’s offerings with three perks for Xbox Game Pass members. This includes:

  • Smite: Season 9 Starter Pass: Offers free Skins, Gods, and other in-game goodies.
  • World of Warships: Exclusive Starter Pack: Offers the Dreadnought and Charleston in-game ships and a week of Premium Account access.
  • Phantasy Star Online 2: February member Monthly Bonus: Offers free items to improve your weapons and revive yourself in battle.

Xbox Game Pass continues to be one of the best deals in gaming, and that trend looks to continue in February. It’s a bit disappointing to see popular titles such as Control and Code Vein leave the service, but the ten new arrivals should hopefully make up for their absence.
