T-Mobile Discount Tips
The best way to save a significant amount on a T-mobile plan, is to be on a family plan rather than an individual plan. If you are on your own and decide to open a new individual plan the minimum you will spend is around $50, whereas if you join someone’s family plan you can pay as little as $10 for the exact same service.
T-mobile offers free unlimited texting and 2G data in over 100 countries worldwide. Calling is 10 cents a minute in most of those countries. Many plans also include a Mexico plan which allows you to text, call, and use high speed data for free.
Check with your employer and see if they’re a part of T-Mobile’s employee discount program and you will save up to 10% on your entire bill. T-Mobile also has student discounts of up to 10% but they have definitely tightened up on these deals so call a rep or go to a store and see what they can do for you.
With T-Mobile, especially if you are a long time customer, there is plenty of room for negotiation. They can waive activation fees, restocking fees, shipping, and reduce your plan cost. You just need to ask!
