Edit: July 3, 2017. Looks like ebay fixed it and no longer can we redeem bucks for gift cards.

I wanted to use my ebay bucks before it expires in about two week, but did not have any thing I need to buy. With ebay gift card from Paypal digital gifts, I did a 1:1 trade. It's not a slickdeal except my ebay gift card now will not expire. I can wait for future promotions( coupons and extra ebay bucks) before spending it.

It does work with the mobile app but you might need to buy one GC at a time which was the case for me.

You may not have to since it worked for some people using app.
