Google Wifi works differently than a traditional router. You set up multiple points throughout your home, creating a "mesh" network that delivers a consistently strong, secure signal.

We had one in the 4000 sq ft garage by the Porsche. We didn't want it by the Ferrari. But it seems like the tennis court got poor coverage since the RV was in the way. It's hard to tell with the waterfall coming off the 30 foot rock wall, though. Probably just the boat. All in all, seems like everyone else here will be fine.
Im hoping for under $200 on black Friday.
Not familiar with the velop system, but I got this 3-pack set less than a week ago.
I used to only get good DL speed right in the same room as the Netgear router I had, 65Mbps on my phone. The rest of the house had anywhere between 15Mbps (one room over, in the kitchen) to literally 1.5Mbps in the garage. Now I have 65Mbps all over the house. Couldn't be happier.
System does not nearly have as many options you can configure as Netgear or any other brandname router, but for the speed I get I'll gladly give up those.

Where do you add the promo code? I don't see an option on the product page or during checkout.

This is only $29 off what Amazon is selling them for. I'd say this is mediocre at best

How is this compared to the velop system? Anyone with experience with this set can comment?

Factor in no tax for most, then it's a total of 50 off. Not bad if you were looking to get one.

For those that have the system, do you just connect these to an existing router in case you need extra Ethernet ports?

Tha ks for your input. I have fios gigabit with around 400-500 speed. But need something to cover 3 levels of 4000 sq ft. Seems like this can only go up to 65 speed?

I would recommend Velop, actually I returned this and got Velop, way much faster, I have Spectrum 200M plan with Google max speed I got was around 100M, but Velop can easily reach 200M without any issue. Also Google sometimes pops up a window that router is offline.
