His books are not for readers who have a short attention span. P Dick is probably the author of most Sci Fi stories you have seen over the last 66 years. Brilliant author that started writing in the 50's.
The Man in High Castle, Total Recall, and Blade Runner 2049 are the recent works that have been made into movies.

Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep is one of my top 5 favorite books. Thanks for the info! I never heard of The Man In The High Castle. I'll have to add that to my Overdrive list.

Season 3 will be out in December. Although not exactly like the books it does a great job of hooking you on his works.

The story is the Axis powers won the war with an atomic bomb on DC. Then Germany expoded with high tech at a phenominal rate. Plots within plots and alternate time realities.

It is also a book but the series is awesome.
Think the book is called an alternate history.

Amazing author, SOME of his stories CAN be difficult to read, but worth it. He has more film based on his works than any other SciFi author because his concepts are amazing.

Great book, just finished it and 'Flow My Tears, the Policeman Said' which I found amazing as well. Currently reading A Scanner Darkly which is already a trip to read. This author just oozes genuine material.

A Scanner Darkly is one of my favorites. Was also made into a movie..animated...Keanu Reeves and Robert Downey Jr and Woody Harrelson...love the book and the movie style fits great as well.

The only issue with that being that no movie resembles any of his stories. They just take the basic idea and run with it.
