Looks like a solid monitor for the price if you do not need a vesa mount.

I have the slightly bigger 23.8" monitors and love the aesthetic look on them. The sound from the monitors are a bit tinny so if you're an audiophile, I wouldn't recommend. I do use this for some MMO gaming and is fine for what I use it for but don't think it would be the best for FPS gaming for high fps and refresh rates.

Any monitors with speakers won't be very loud, period. You could either get a HDTV suitable to be a monitor or get a separate speaker.

Not bad, might be good for my retired dad who stares at a small laptop screen.

Invest in a good headset that won't break every 6 months and you can have surround sound with any screen.

This is a good monitor I bought this last time it was posted here. I use it for a security camera monitor and it works well.

Looks like the 27 inch version is on sale also $169 less $20 rebate = $149
