Edit: It seems this is being misinterpretted. let me clarify.

Nioh Complete comes with everything. all dlc is included.

I am merely lamenting that the Season Pass, by itself without the base game, is not on sale as well. I already own the base game and would like to have a good deal on the season pass.

It's not super surprising though, is it? I feel like DLC is so rarely on sale in general. You kinda know what you're getting into if you buy a game before the "Complete Edition" (or whatever it's called in the end) is released. Multiplayer games, I guess I understand. You want to play before the community is dead and play with your friends. But single player games, I don't see much draw in buying them prior to that complete version unless you know for certain you're not interested in the announced DLC.

ditto here, stupid that I could buy the whole version for $25 or season pass for the same... might as well buy the PC version when it's on sale and get upgraded graphics at this point.

Guess I'll be waiting again. Shame, I was hoping to hop back into this game.

Pretty typical, this is why I either wait for the Complete or GOTY edition get discounted to buy or I buy a physical copy of the base game so I can trade it or sell if off once there is a digital sale for the Complete.
