Good deal! But keep in mind this is more or less overkill for the DIY'r. I have the Rockwell 20-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Brushless 1/2" Drill & 1/2" Impact Wrench Combo Kit with two batteries and charger for $119 and it's beast and a much smaller footprint. I also have an old (circa 70's or 80's) Sears electric impact wrench that did the job 98% of the time even though it's much less powerful than even the Rockwell, never mind the Dewalt XR.

Don't get me wrong, this is good deal, and if you're a pro or someone who just has to have it, then go for it, just letting people know the average DYI'r will probably never need anything this powerful, and like I said it's a pretty big tool, I replaced the engine mounts in my car last weekend and with the small footprint of the Rockwell I was able to fit it in tight spaces to remove five or six stubborn bolts, I don't think the big Dewalt XR impact wrench would have fit in those spaces.

I owned this one with the detent pin. It was a powerful tool but I'd much prefer the hog ring version to swap sockets easier. Good price though

I just got one with the hog ring, took me forever to find a deal. Its consistently more expensive than the pin detent one, and stores (Lowes, Home Depot) don't sell it. Very odd. Fortunately I was able to make use of the recent ebay coupon and got it for around $150 (tool only). Now I don't need to lug an air hose to do lugnuts and other stuff!

Bought one last night for DIY tire rotation and swapping in and out summer and winter tires. Overkill for sure. But at this price it is cheaper than harbor freight's Earthquake XT 20V 1/2" impact wrench with only 90 days of warranty.

Just don't put the socket on the pin?

I have this and tried lesser impacts. It's not worth getting anything cheaper. It may be overkill, but some of the lesser impacts couldn't take off lug nuts, let alone suspension parts.

I like the 3 way switch for power settings. That way it's not full stud snapping power every single time if you don't want it
