Also, if you buy these, my experience is that a small layer of *something* going across the surface will improve the feel of a mattress on top of one of these. I personally have a layer of puzzle mat across mine, between the frame and the skirt, and it works great.
you MUST get some form of bedboard for this,
or you will feel that center rod all the time
particularly true if you are a side sleeper.
the diagonal braces all face outward
which increases the usable storage space.
15x15x16 duck boxes sold on walmart maximize space use.
i would recommend buying nylon washers (from china)
and use them on all the frame wingnut bolt connections.
i felt this would reduce any potential noise and wear
thus extend the life of the frame.
