"The defining principle of this day is to share books, so your friends at Audible are sharing three beloved classics with everyone – for free. All this week, we're giving away great listens from legendary authors. Pass it on!"
Day 1:
Moby Dick
By: Herman Melville
Narrated by: Anthony Heald
Winnie-the-Pooh
By: A. A. Milne
Narrated by: Peter Dennis
Emma
By: Jane Austen
Narrated by: Nadia May
Check back later, I'll try and update as the week goes on.
For people who like to listen to the classics, there is a free public audio book site called Librivox that has its own iOS and Android app. People read and record books out of copyright(most classics) and even have dramatic readings for plays and such.
I've downloaded most of Jane Austin and GB Shaw from there for my long drives.

Sorry but that's not true. Audible is a subscription to own books, not allow you to listen. Once you own the book you can cancel your subscription and still listen to your audible library.

Winnie-the-Pooh shows up as $9.99 on kindle for me? Anyone find this for free?
once you click "Winnie-the-Pooh" link the AUDIOBOOK selection is highlighted
on the right side of the page I got an offer to send to email/phone but clicked "want to buy" below. the price is $0.00 and I don't have an audible subscription
