There are some rumblings on reddit and within the Bose forums that the QuietComfort 45 will come out in the first half of 2019. They are expected to add USB-C, better Noise Reduction, and higher quality audio codecs to better compete with Sony's latest wireless headphones.

Are these the newest ones or are the III's out? From everything I've read it's better to hold out for the Sony 1000XM3s that *should* cost less than 300 next time they are on sale. The last sale had them at 299.
