This was on sale during the end of last year and I missed it and was looking to get it for my vehicle and saw it's back on sale for the same price of $239.99. Wanted to share if it is helpful to anyone. Install included.

I had these installed in my Lexus RX350 and Acura RDX at different times at different BB locations. Here are some takeaways from my experience so far:
1. The Lexus/Toyota cars will shut the engine off when you remote start the car and then open the door.
2. The Acura/Honda cars will not shut the engine off when you open the doors. According to the second installer, the engine shutting off is mostly a Toyota safety feature, so most other cars won't shut off when you open the door.
3. After installation, you don't need the Compustar remotes to remote start your car, you can use your old OEM fob to start the car remotely! I didn't know this until the second installer told me about this feature. You do this by pressing the lock button three time and hold the third press. However, I still carry the Compustar remote because the range on these remotes are WAY better than the OEM remote.
4. I had completely different experiences at both BB locations. The first location had canceled my appointment without letting me know, they didn't have the right T-harness, etc. The second technician was a knowledgeable, super-friendly guy and was a very pleasant experience.

The upside is that you will have it all set and ready to go for the summer heat! Have you tried other stores in your area . Sometimes you can get in when someone has to cancel!

I bought this last year with free install. When does free install expire? I still have promo code for installation but not sure when it ends...

These things have been around for decades. Honestly surprised that they don't come standard in most cars by now.

Call your local BB and talk to the AUTOTECH to make an appointment with your code and any other questions about the install or any additional charges for your car.

You should call your local BB and talk to the AUTOTECH with your order number to make an appointment after your expected delivery date. Be aware this is the busiest time of year for the installers so you may have a wait for an open appointment!
