This is a V rated (149 mph) Reliant tire, with better construction than H (130 mph) rated Reliant. Traction A. Temperature A. 600 threadwear. I get +65000 miles at 40 psi cold tire pressure. One of the lowest price in several years.

Order online and ship to home. Return/exchange the tires if they are not made in USA and older than 3 months (manufacturing date stamped on the tire). Most tire noise is due to mounting and balancing issue like placing more than 1 oz weight at one location. Avoid tires from Mexico due to cheap labor and lower quality control, which can result in bulging sidewall or premature cracks on the tire.

I also use this tire on a Toyota Corolla that came with 195/65/15 rubber. Odometer is off by about 3% with 60 aspect ratio tire (sharper handling and cornering).

Tire installation can be hit or miss at Walmart. A good installer will check the rim for damage, clean the rim, enter the rim dimension into the dynamic balance computer, and reposition the tire if the balance weight exceeds 1 oz.

High threadwear tires are not a good value unless you wear out the tires in 4-5 years. 500-700 threadwear is the sweet spot for most people. Rubber deteriorates with time. A new tire is always better than a +5 year old tire.

Don't need for alignment if:

1. All tires wear evenly across the contact patch.
2. Car stays in lane for +4 seconds at highway speed on level road without driver's intervention.

These are decent tires. Obviously not as good and won't last as long as premium tires but they grip the road fine - just not great in the snow. For the price and value they're tough to beat.
