Purchased this plate compactor yesterday. Used a 20% off for $110 off the sale price. I must say that I am impressed with what you get for less than $500 out the door. FYI. it is not the inteck engine shown in the photo. It has a Honda clone. I hope it holds up well. I will be doing the first oil change before the next time I use it. Rental was $80 per day and I will need it for at least 3 or more. So I can either sell it a $100 loss or just keep it for future projects.

You old ladies really need to stop bickering. Take it back to the torque wrench thread and keep it there. Don't go sharting all over this one too. We're looking for coupons and deals and don't need to wade through all of this nonsense.

Hey I have a question for all of you... in the past when I had a coupon and the item wasn't in stock, I got a raincheck for the item at the coupon price. Last time I went, they told me that I could only get a raincheck for advertised sale prices. Is anyone else seeing the same thing? It seems like they are moving away from the raincheck thing altogether.

The HF Honda clones are actually great engines. There is a huge following of go-kart racing guys that swear by them. These guys hop them up to 15-20+hp. In fact they are so popular they have their own racing class. You will be hard pressed to find someone that has something bad to say about them.
FYI, the new line B&S inteks are actually Chinese made Honda clones too!
