I need to get a 3 ton jack (nothing urgent) There appears to be 2 jacks that fit what I am looking for I was going to say they are the same but the weight of the item is a little different.

Have either of these every dropped down under $69 ?
That's the standard "sale price" for these jacks and they appear in almost every flyer. I can't recall seeing one any lower in at least the last year. 68048 has 1/8" more lift and weighs 3.5 lbs less than 69277. Otherwise there's no difference in the descriptions. FWIW.

Does anyone have an up-to-date coupon for the low-profile 2-ton jack? #68050?

I've been sitting on a coupon that was posted on here for $99 that expires on 10/26. I've been waiting for a coupon for $89 to show up since I had heard of one not too many months ago, but haven't found one.

Does anyone have a coupon that has a later expiration date or for $89? Thanks!

cant even find a up to date coupon on ebay

i need to get this jack today

The reviews on HF's website for these are terrible. I'd be scared to use one.

Does it have to be this jack? Won't any 2-ton jack work for you? Item#68783 is only $24.99

Run your tires over two 2"x4"s and that will raise your wheel 3 more inches so you can fit the $24.99 jack under the car.

Man ss, is there anything you don't need? laugh out loud I managed to find an ITC Q for the 11' 4" x 9' 4" camo tarp in the Wiki [harborfreight.com] (shout out to mich!) down from $9.99 to $8.99 but it's cheaper if you were to use the 20% Q off the $9.99 regular price ($7.99). Camo Tarps going for as little as $2.99 at the moment if the 4' 6" x 6' 6" will work for you. Others linked here [harborfreight.com] with a couple currently on sale. Don't forget the 20% Q on these regardless which one you decide on.

Use the 20% coupon and that will save you $26 bucks. Brings it down to $104 (not quite $99 but close)

Thoughts on this anyone? It seems all the comments on HF since May 2012 have been negative on these. Anyone buy one since May and have had GOOD luck with it??

*************************

The free scissors in the wiki expired 11/18/12. Might be good to remove this coupon so someone like me doesn't try to use it and looks like a fool at the register (not that I've done that before!!! LOL!)

How do you find the Salt Lake Trib flyers on the Salt Lake website? How often is a new one posted there?

I have had 3 since summer. One on the compact front loader, one during the cold on my diesel truck (2 very large batteries), and one I use on various things. They all work and work well. When my truck died, they kept the batteries fully charged all the time through multiple cranks on the starter troubleshooting it.

Only thing to look out for with them is not to leave them attached to the battery without being connected to an outlet for long, I heard it actually can drain the battery overtime this way.

20% Q can't be used on floor jacks.
