I recently got a letter in the mail after I got my car serviced from the dealer from SiriusXM. They have a reward for my "loyalty" but it seems to work on any car that currently has an inactive account. I just tried this on 3 of my cars that have SiriusXM radios and worked on all 3. You don't need a credit card and it automatically cancels after 2 months. You get all the channels including the premium ones.

The key word here is the subscription plan you choose. You DON'T have to choose anything. It's just an option on the last screen.

Worked for me, They didn't ask for Credit Card info and said free 2 month trial would auto cancel. I did this several years ago and it worked great. Thanks OP.

When I entered by VIN, I was told my radio was not eligible for this offer. So YMMV.

I had a "6 month sub" on my new car i bought in Feb 2018. However, it still appears to work in my car. has anyone else had this happen? Is there a way to see what (if any) service is on your vehicle based on VIN? I do not want to sign up for this trial and mess up my (apparently) free service.

Just as a side note, the 3 vehicles that I have are a combination of old and new with XM and Sirius radios. 2004 Acura TL, 2008 BMW 335i, and 2018 Honda Odyssey. Worked on all 3.

Thanks. Worked for my 2017 vehicle with inactive subscription.

Just be aware that once your Trial ends, be prepared to have multiple calls from SiriusXM reps calling you trying to get you too sign up for Membership. What I normally do, is just request my number be taken off their Call-List. G'Luck!
