This is a FYI for people who are interested in a CHEAP ($20 per month)Unlimited Plan through AT&T. The UConnect plan via the ZTE Mobley is back for a limited time. Currently, AT&T is sold out of the device (and its not certain if they will getting them back in stock). but you can still get the plan if you can come up with the ZTE Mobley device. You can still find a handful of the devices on eBay currently. The cool thing about the device is that people have figured out how to create adapters so the device can run off a wall outlet.

Per the wonderful website, RVmobileinternet.com you need to call a special ATT number to get the deal as it a special promotion. Below are the two numbers they listed on the website:

Primary Phone Number: 855-894-9945

Secondary Phone Number: 866-662-4548

HERE ARE LINKS TO THE RVMOBILEINTERNET SITE WHERE THEY DISCUSS WHAT THE MOBLEY IS AND HOW TO GET THIS DEAL:

https://www.rvmobileinternet.com/...-of-stock/

https://www.rvmobileinternet.com/...-campaign/

You can read about the device on several active forums too. Howard Forums is probably one of the best!

what sprint plan are you referring to? is that the one that is only for folks with certain income levels?
Yea. I work part time and go to college full time so i am well under their eligible income. I submitted my W2 and got it approved in couple of days.

So this makes around $25 a month with credit pull and probably another $30 activation and $20-30 for usb modem. On the other hand, unlimited on sprint is $12 with with mobile connect with one time cost of $125 for device and shipping. It kind of got me confused. I'll break even via sprint in 6 months and then half of the price via autopay prepaid compared to $25 on postpaid att.
What is that Sprint Mobile Connect plan? You mean unlimited data for $12, plus one time $125 device? What device would that be?

It is a plan like this AT&T Connected Car?

Thanks!

Ha that's crazy. But it does come with a plan. When the deal ended the first time, I believe people were trying to sell them for $1000.

what kind of fees/taxes are added to that $20 each month?
Ive had my lines since 2017 and they cost me $23.24 each after all taxes and fees.

Will vary based on location. Definity worth it over the $29.99 ipad plan.

So i need the mobley before calling - think the deal will die before the mobley arrives from ebay?? and you dont need an att account or plan to add this to?

If you contact the seller, they might be willing to send the IMEI when they get your cleared payment.

Just to add my experience with ATT: Called the 855-894-9945. I am already a current ATT customer. Mentioned the UConnect promotion for Chrysler for $20 a month. ATT rep mentioned that the ZTE device was sold out, told rep I already had a Mobley. Rep then put me on along hold to see if they can accept a device that a customer had already owned/purchased. After about 2-3 minutes rep came back on the line and said it was ok. Rep then sent me a pin number to my existing ATT phone # and had me tell rep what the pin # was for hard credit pull approval request. After that rep was having trouble getting the system to allow rep to add an IMEI number so put on hold again for another 3-4 minutes. Came back on the line and then asked for the IMEI number. Rep then stated that the plan cost was $20 for the plan itself as well as a $10 service connection fee so the $20 plan is now $30 a month plus sales tax but no other fees. Activation fee of $30 was waived. SIM card being shipped out priority shipping.

He got screwed, there is no 10 dollar fee. They rang it up as a cell phone. Better off going into the store.

Not sure as of now if $10 is being added every month to the $20 plan. Will have to check the bill once the "dust settles" with the billing.

There shouldn't be any fee, activation or otherwise, though.
