This is a FYI for people who are interested in a CHEAP ($20 per month)Unlimited Plan through AT&T. The UConnect plan via the ZTE Mobley is back for a limited time. Currently, AT&T is sold out of the device (and its not certain if they will getting them back in stock). but you can still get the plan if you can come up with the ZTE Mobley device. You can still find a handful of the devices on eBay currently. The cool thing about the device is that people have figured out how to create adapters so the device can run off a wall outlet.

Per the wonderful website, RVmobileinternet.com you need to call a special ATT number to get the deal as it a special promotion. Below are the two numbers they listed on the website:

Primary Phone Number: 855-894-9945

Secondary Phone Number: 866-662-4548

HERE ARE LINKS TO THE RVMOBILEINTERNET SITE WHERE THEY DISCUSS WHAT THE MOBLEY IS AND HOW TO GET THIS DEAL:

https://www.rvmobileinternet.com/...-of-stock/

https://www.rvmobileinternet.com/...-campaign/

You can read about the device on several active forums too. Howard Forums is probably one of the best!

Why all the TD? Seems like a promising deal.
Mostly it's people looking to bury it by down voting.

Can't believe I set myself up for this grief again. 1 hour I am never going to get back. Called the number on the first page. First rep I think was just a sales guy trying to find out what other products I might be a sucker for. After being with him about 10 minutes he had to transfer me to the car connect group. Next lady asked me for the same info as the first guy and then she had to transfer me to the car connect group too!. Third guy started to ask me for my vehicle vin, car model etc. until I explained I was wanting the plan for the mobley device. "Oh, the Mobley device" he says.. Of course he couldn't help me either and needed to transfer me again. I should have realized this was going no where at that point but hey, I guess I really am a sucker. 4th guy gets on and I can barely understand and hear him. I swear I had to repeat my information 5 times before he got it down .. address, name email, etc.. It was like a 3 stooges act, really! So then he gets my ssn, info and says a credit check needs to be done...I think I am almost 50 min into this farce. I hear the wait music so I assume I am being transferred again to that dept. and of course after about 5 more minutes the music stopped playing and then .. wait for it ... silence. Then dial tone. The SOBs dropped my call. Bastards..I will not ever, no way, no how, ever buy anything from this $hithole crap company. Going to have to do a credit freeze now. I think all I just accomplished was giving away my personal info to these tards.
This won't help you now, but for anyone else don't let them transfer you away from the phone number listed. If that person doesn't understand what you're trying to setup, hang up and call again until you get a rep who does.

What are the devices your are installing the SIM into? Mobley is limited (hangs sometimes, maximum 10 clients).

Netgear Nighthawk MR1100? Netgear LB1120? Netgear Unite Explore? Harman Spark? Anything else?

Apparently this Nighthawk can only support 20 wifi clients (at home I'm already at 18 smart devices/clients).

What is the best option currently to use at home?

It's my understanding that the Nighthawk has an Ethernet port that can provide internet access to a router, allowing as many devices you would like. Someone tell me if I'm wrong.

The Nighthawk is the best device you listed. The Unite Explore is pretty awesome too. As for routers, I like the Asus Rt-AC68U

Did you buy the device from AT&T?

If not, the plan is $20mper month plus taxes. Taxes will vary depending where you live.

Does anyone know if this plan can be suspended for periods of time? I'm interested because we just bought a camper and having fast WiFi in parks would be nice but might only use it 6 months of the year.

Also how easy is it to get this thing running from a power outlet in the house? I've read threads about relays and such I just want to buy a simple working solution. Can anyone help advise on that?

If I don't need 100 mbps and am good with 15-20 is this the best deal or is there a better choice? We have an old Verizon more everything plan we plan to keep as long as humanly possible

We have been using ours in the RV for about a year. Great deal! AC adapters work good. You can fabricate or buy. 12 volt cigarette lighter option also available.

Put the SIM in a device of your own choosing. Pretty sure you can't suspend post paid service like that for extended amounts of time. Its only $20 a month, stop nitpicking.

All set up and running on the Nighthawk M1. Unfortunately the download speeds aren't great in suburban California. 8 down and 11 up.

Did you try an antenna?
