1) motion detector keeps reverting back to most sensitive setting after being changed to middle sensitivity that is supposedly pet friendly.
2) keypad goes to sleep mode and disconnects from base station without any indication or change in status lights after being on constant power for a few months. needs to be reset to reconnect. known issue with no fix discussed in several forum threads.
otherwise I like the system and it is user friendly.

Are their security systems more reliable? Would maybe one of these with the doorbell cam and then just buying into an arlo or something be the best for security and recording?

Everything is working great. I had to call customer service once and they were very helpful and professional.
I was paying $50 a month for my previous security system and I haven't noticed a difference with Ring for a fraction of the price.
