Is this a slick deal? Trying to get a solid, yet deal, sewing machine as a gift.
Would highly recommend if you're looking for something that'll be easy and functional

Kidding aside, we have a sewing machine that was given to my wife many years ago and nether of us never knew how to use. I ended up figuring it out and using it pretty extensively starting when I needed to repair my canvas boat cover since a new one would have been over $1k. I've since repaired boat seat cushions, put patches on my kid's tae kwon do uniform, and countless other craft projects. I might buy this one since our machine (really my machine) is old and a PIA to thread and get the bobbin loaded in.
